Duration: Depends on the group size. But up to 6 hours for groups of up to 10 people, but we prefer small and private groups and average duration is 2-3 hours.
This is an “out of the water” basic first aid course for divers and non-divers alike.
It has become more and more common for people, families and work places to ask for, require or give “first responder” level training to people in general. This certification is a very useful, easy and fun way of learning how to react, act and respond in the case that you are witnessing any sort of health related emergency. It teaches you what steps to follow (The Life Line Steps) to make sure that you are doing everything with in your capabilities to help any other person who is in need of help. Also you will learn what responsibilities, liabilities, and legal commitment you are in when you try to help a consenting (and non-consenting) adult. In detail it will explain why you do not need to worry about what legal action can be taken against you, should anything happen, because there are laws and agreements between countries that protect “Emergency First Responders”, to encourage people to take a step forward and be willing to learn basic first aid skills you if the case ever comes you are ready and well prepared to help any person on any given day.
Includes: Licensed and Experienced, 100% English speaking EFR Instructor, EFR Manual (theory book), all equipment necessary, include CPR Dummy chest, mouth pieces, the use of a Automated External Defibrillation (AED) training unit, bandages, gloves and everything else that is needed. Final exam and certification afterwards.
